The customer

The Court of Cassation is the highest jurisdiction of the French judicial order. Sitting in the courthouse of Paris, the supreme court has the task of controlling the correct application of the law by the courts and the courts of appeal, thus guaranteeing a uniform interpretation of the law. 

The objectives

The Court of Cassation was looking for a service provider to ensure the hosting, sustainability and scalability of its institutional site on the one hand and to guarantee a level of quality service combining efficiency and performance on the other hand.

Our answer

Between 2014 and 2020*, Luminess (formerly Jouve) provided the following services:  

  • Resumption of accommodation and TMA from the previous holder;
  • Hosting and operation of the court of cassation site;
  • Webmastering (updating the site and putting PDF reports online after HTML conversion, assistance with the site administrator);
  • Corrective and evolutionary maintenance;​ 
  • Training;​ 
  • Accessibility audit. ;
  • Technical and functional support (setting up hosting, content migration, application appropriation):
    • Hosting and operation;​ 
    • Study, estimate for development.

The Court of Cassation's website is central: intended for a demanding public, it is both a workspace, a tool for monitoring cases, and a source of information for the general public. Since 2014, Luminess (formerly Jouve) has ensured the maintenance, development and hosting of the site as well as the publication of the Court's annual reports.
