The customer

A public operator of distance education, the CNED's mission is to enable everyone to learn and train with today's technologies (pupils, students, teachers, professionals, etc.).

The objectives

The CNED wanted support on several aspects:

• In 2015, Luminess (formerly Jouve) created MOBICNED, an application allowing it to offer its registrants, particularly internationally, access to dematerialized course materials on tablets and smartphones;
• Since 2014, Luminess has been responsible for the composition and layout and image work of all CNED books from primary to higher education;
• Between 2016 and 2019, the CNED was looking for a service provider who could design all of the two years of training in an entirely digital version of two BTS:

       - BTS Digital Sciences;

       - BTS Communication.​

These are the first 100% online courses offered by the CNED.

Specialized in the production of applications for the educational world and at the heart of new uses, Luminess has been able to meet all of these needs thanks to the diversity of its businesses and its technological mastery.
Created from the solution digital-publishing, the MobiCNED application makes it possible to distribute and consult CNED training content in a secure manner. Luminess provided on behalf of the CNED:

•     Project management;
•     Research and management of authors;
•     Course writing (8 subjects per year);
•     Pedagogical engineering;
•     UX/UI oriented graphic adaptation;​
•     Production of modules;
•     Integration under Moodle.
