Strategic partnership between Lifen and Luminess (formerly Jouve): a technological breakthrough for the fluidity of patient care pathways

Paris on March 18, 2021 - Lifen and Luminess (formerly Jouve) announce the commitment of their strategic and operational partnership. This is a very significant breakthrough to allow more fluidity in the identification of patients and the management of their administrative and financial journeys. Concretely, the patient will be able to identify himself from the universal authentication system called "Lifen Connect" and will benefit from a fluid and integrated process allowing him to manage his summons, the securing of his identity, his administrative and financial admission, the incrementation of its medical documents in the DMP and the digitized sending of the medical report to the city doctors. This technological and operational advance is therefore directly in line with the strategic objectives of the digital roadmap of the Ma Santé 2022 Plan.

Accelerate innovation thanks to the collective

Through this new partnership, Lifen affirms its desire to enable all healthcare players in France to collaborate better, by more easily exchanging the medical information necessary for patient care.
Lifen is positioned as the platform allowing establishments to accelerate access to innovation, to gain sovereignty while integrating all of the State's repositories. We want to allow establishments to use the basic services of the State while benefiting from an additional layer of service which allows them to have a use consistent with their specificities.

To go further, Lifen, which today equips more than 400 health establishments and enables more than 120 doctors to exchange medical documents, has launched a new project called “Soigner Ensemble”, which aims to facilitate access to innovative e-health solutions for establishments.
From the start of the COVID-19 health crisis, the Luminess group, a French specialist in the digitization of the entry into digital relations with the social protection, banking and insurance sectors, had accelerated the development of its Know Your Patient (KYP) offer. , which enables the remote admission of patients by mobilizing AI image recognition technology from simple photos of the parts taken by the patient and deposited on the portal via a smartphone or computer.
This solution has already seen very rapid distribution with deployment in around thirty establishments and hospital groups, both public and private. Luminess has made the operationalization of KYP with the reference technological solutions of healthcare establishments a strategic development priority. At the beginning of January, Luminess had thus announced the deployment of the first interoperability with a GAM editor, CPage.

The partnership with Lifen makes it possible to take this logic of interoperability on a new scale. The fluidity of the integrated system put in place also aims to allow a significant increase in the rate of digital on-boarding of patients in healthcare establishments.
This digital transformation of pre-admission has already reached, thanks to KYP, very significant levels in the establishments deployed. An Opinion Way study commissioned by Luminess has just shown the extent of the potential for scaling up: 84% of French people are ready to complete their admission digitally.

The technological advances made possible by the Lifen-Luminess partnership (formerly Jouve)

  •  Complete digitalization of the patient journey: summons, admission, follow-up documents;
  •  Creation of a single account per patient for the 2 solutions;
  •  Pre-filling of the information required for admission (personal information, date of the appointment, services, etc.) for regular updating of the data;
  •  Simplification of use for the establishment via a single authentication system for Lifen, Lifen Covid, Luminess applications;
  •  Decompartmentalization of documentary management, both administrative and medical, relating to the patient's arrival.

“The partnership with Luminess enriches the Soigner Ensemble project, enabling faster access to innovation for caregivers. We are happy to integrate Luminess into our interoperability platform and to facilitate access for healthcare establishments. » Franck Le Ouay, CEO of Lifen.

« The partnership with Lifen, a benchmark player in digital healthcare innovation, is a great new step forward for Jouve. The technological power and capacity of Lifen to deploy in a very large number of healthcare establishments will make it possible to offer an innovative and integrated offer to revolutionize the fluidity of patient care pathways. says Thibault Lanxade, CEO of the Luminess group.
