Luminess reinvents eco-responsible goodies

Paris, on 22-03-2022 - "Go from goodies to feel good", such is the slogan that could be seen on the stand of Jouve (now Luminess), on the occasion of the annual meeting of agility in Rennes, which took place from December 15 to 17. The objective of this approach, to swap pens and other disposable notebooks for the benefit of a more sustainable approach for associations whose activities are in line with that of our society.

Respect for the environment is one of the pillars of the CSR policy of the group, as evidenced by actions such as the reduction in the sending of emails introduced in the profit-sharing agreements. Today, Luminess wishes to go further and has initiated a “Green Goodies” approach during its presence at trade fairs. An eco-responsible approach, which rethinks the so-called “traditional” goodies and which was acclaimed by those present at the show. Conceived by Luminess and implemented thanks to our expertise, this approach is part of our more global policy of reducing our atmospheric emissions by 25% by 2025.

Concretely what is it? Luminess has chosen three associations covering subjects in line with the group's challenges, namely digital inclusion represented by Emmaüs Connect, the professional diversity represented by Femmes@Numuelles and the environment represented by a French foundation. Visitors to the show are invited to vote on the platform created by our teams for one of these associations and the company donates the sum equivalent to the number of votes. Participants also have the option of making a personal donation via a QR code available on the company's stand. This approach has many advantages, on the one hand a positive impact on the environment, on the other hand an initiative that is part of a sustainable approach and finally support for local or national associations.

Societies need to ask themselves what role they want and need to play. They are no longer simple job providers but they have a strong social and societal responsibility. Replacing goodies with donations is really what Luminess' approach is about. This Green Goodies approach, which we experienced for the first time during the Agile Tour de Rennes received a warm welcome from the participants on site. This is not the first time that Luminess has played a pioneering role in matters related to CSR. This was particularly during the implementation of our "No Email Friday" approach, now integrated into our profit-sharing agreements

Luminess technology at the service of CSR

The “Green Goodies” approach was imagined and built by Luminess in its entirety. Beyond the mobilization of the CSR, HR and communication teams, it is also the IT and UX-UI who worked to build our dedicated voting platform. The latter contains two interfaces: a first which recalls the principle of the initiative and which briefly presents each association, then a second which provides more information on each of them in order to make an informed choice.
