Jouve, a major digital player becomes Luminess

Paris, January 19, 2022 - Jouve, a major digital player, changes its name and becomes Luminess. Resolutely turned towards the future, this change of identity anchors the transformation of this French ETI to position itself as a leader in the BPO as a service. It thus becomes a major player in digital sovereignty in France and Europe.

Centennial company, founded in 1903 in Mayenne, Jouve has succeeded in renewing and transforming itself to establish itself as a major digital player in France. Initially specializing in poetic, legal and scientific works, the group embarked on a major digital shift in the 1980s. Thus, for nearly a century, Jouve has been constantly developing its solutions, in a permanent search for innovation and 'adaptation. To embody this perpetual transformation, at the heart of the group's DNA, Jouve is changing its identity. A way to put people back at the heart of uses, to further embody the fundamentals of the group that make it strong and unique, with the conviction that the ethical use of data creates value.

The group is widely recognized for its expertise in artificial intelligence algorithms and its systematic consideration of human guarantees. For nearly a century, it has been able to develop its solutions to better meet the needs of its customers and the market. Their strong expertise around the document and artificial intelligence algorithms, associated with human supervision, have made it possible to gradually move from document processing to data processing and to become a major digital player in France. With nearly 1 people in 500 countries, the group combines the response capabilities of a large group with the adaptability of smaller structures and asserts itself as an international leader.

The place occupied by digital technology is increasingly at the heart of its uses. It constantly re-examines the place of the human, where the exploitation of datas brings both hope and questions. It was crucial for the new entity brightness to leave a place for ethics at the heart of its practices. In our view, the exploitation of data creates value in the same way as human intervention. The exploitation of datas in addition to being regulatory and normative, it must above all be ethical. Digitization should not be synonymous with fear but with security: the human must accompany the technique in its uses and developments.

Our mastery of technology combined with our strong business skills, integrated into their new platform, now allows us to offer outsourced solutions, quickly implemented and scalable. As a leading player in BPO as a service, Luminess will be able to support the development and performance of its clients, thanks to its convictions, its technical expertise, its business knowledge and human values, in four strategic sectors: intellectual property, financial and insurance services, the public sector and health.

“We are evolving in a society that is changing rapidly, which places digital technology more and more at the heart of its uses, which constantly re-examines the place of humans, where the exploitation of datas brings both hope and questions. Luminess will be there to help and reassure them. It will allow us to meet the ambitions that drive us, and will ensure that tomorrow we will be the leader in BPO as a service.”
