Denis Roturier, Director of Social Relations at Luminess, appointed President of the Conseil des Prud'hommes de Laval

Paris, 22/03/22 - Denis Roturier, Director of Social Relations at Luminess (formerly Jouve), from the college of employers, was recently appointed Chairman of the industrial tribunal of Laval. Alongside his missions within the Luminess group (HR management, collective negotiations, relations with IRPs), he now heads this body which brings together 40 industrial tribunal advisers (20 employee representatives and as many employers / 19 women and 20 men) . Taking office during a decisive year, at a time when referrals increased sharply between 2020 and 2021, and when the arrival of new advisers is scheduled for the end of 2022.

As a reminder, the industrial tribunal is a joint jurisdiction whose function is to reconcile and judge disputes that arise in connection with work or an employment contract between an employee and an employer under private law. .

Faced with an increase in industrial tribunal activity (+28% in the number of decisions rendered between 2020 and 2021), the role of Denis Roturier will be key. A mission that he will be able to carry out thanks to his training as a lawyer and his long experience of social dialogue acquired within employers' organizations and the Luminess group. As Director of Social Relations, he has intervened in particular for the past two years on issues relating to teleworking, a key subject of the covid-19 pandemic, or on our collective agreement change project.
